I’m Marina, but I write under my penname, Angela Gori (just a pseudonym I chose for various reasons, and which is a combination of my real name and an invented one. My real name is Marina, you can check out my profile ;) ). I love reading and I’m one of those people who still go mad for paperbacks and will drive a bookstore assistant to the edge of insanity.
I’m really into fantasy and sci-fi, which is why most (not all of them, mind you) of the books you'll find rated here are from those genres.
I don’t believe in ‘bad books’ or ‘bad stories’. I think rating a novel is very subjective, so if you see a comment in here along the lines of: ‘It’s not what I expected’ or something of the sort it just means that I as a reader didn’t find that particular book enjoyable, which by NO means translates into it being bad or not enjoyable to YOU. I believe that you as a reader should of course read reviews if you like, but also go to the bookstore and read the blurb, look at the cover and maybe if they let you, read a few pages. We’re all different people, and our perception of reality may be completely different (hell, it might even be opposite), so even if the book has awful reviews, give it a try, there’s a reason why you were attracted to it in the first place!
